To do this, you need to create/sign in to a Steam account, you can do this on Steam’s website.

Then go to DOTA’s website and click on ‘Sign in through STEAM’, then proceed to enter your account details to log in.

You will see that the ‘Sign in through STEAM’ button will now be replaced with a ‘Get on the list’ button.

That’s it! Now is the hardest part… The wait!

Naughty naughty, a Crysis 2 Beta has been leaked onto most torrent sites. Naturally, the developer – Crytek – has released a statement condemning this beta, and urging fans not to download and run it.

Crysis 2 is still in development, and the team is hard at work on it and Crysis 2 promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion.

We cannot link you to a copy of this beta, but if you search on any major torrent website it will be easy to find.

As of tomorrow (3rd Febuary 2011), all PS3 users have access to the Killzone 3 Beta! Players will have access to one map – ‘Frozen Dam’, but will have the ability to try it out on 4 different game modes. The open beta will last up until 15th Febuary, then on the 25th Febuary the game will be released.

The beta will be available on the PSN store on the 3rd Febuary at 11am GMT. Be sure to grab it!

A date for the Gears of War 3 beta has not yet been released yet, though yesterday Epic Games announced a simple way for you to get your hands on it!

You just need to do something on February 22nd 2011…..

On 22nd February 2011, Bulletstorm – another Epic Games game – is released. There will be an Epic Games Edition of this, that you will need to purchase. This will give you access to the public beta. See the Epic Games website for the full article.

It’s not joke, but years after being being released for the PC, Team Fortress 2 is now in open beta. This is so the developers can “experiment” with a few ideas before being rolled out to the whole population of players. Just like the CS:S beta was earlier this year.

You need to be an owner of the Team Fortress 2 PC game on Steam to take part in the beta. It’s really really easy to install, all you have to do is go to your Steam games library and double click on the Team Fortress 2 beta.

• Testing and tuning various class, item, and weapon changes
• Testing map changes and variants
• Running higher level, game-wide experiments (like doubling player health)
